The world’s greatest historic motor-race meeting, staged entirely in period dress — the 2026 edition themed La Dolce Vita. Like the Festival of Speed, it is one of the very few major events you can fly directly into: Goodwood’s own aerodrome (EGHR) sits on the estate for light aircraft, with Farnborough for heavier metal.

The route · where attendees fly from

Where most legs originate

The Revival draws a heritage-motoring and society crowd from London, the Continent and the US. Most empty legs originate London, Geneva and Paris in the week before.

Getting in · the part nobody tells you

One of the few events with a runway on-site

Goodwood’s aerodrome is on the estate, so a light jet or turboprop can land beside the circuit. Heavier aircraft use Farnborough, fifteen minutes away by air.

LAND HERE Where you actually land

  • EGHRGoodwood Aerodrome — on the estate, grass and hard runways for light jets and turboprops in daylight; a short transfer to the gate.
  • EGLFFarnborough — the heavy gateway, ~25 min by car or a short helicopter hop; full handling and customs.
  • EGKAShoreham (Brighton City) — alternative south-coast field, ~35 min by road.

WATCH OUT What catches people out

  • LIGHT ONLY AT EGHRGoodwood’s runway takes light jets and turboprops only — a midsize or heavy jet must use Farnborough.
  • DAYLIGHT / PPRGoodwood is daylight-only and prior-permission-required; book the slot well ahead for the Revival weekend.
  • PEAK SOUTH-COAST WEEKFarnborough fills for the Revival — reserve handling and parking early or plan to reposition.

Plan it like this

The estate arrival

If your aircraft fits, land at Goodwood itself and step out beside the circuit in period dress. If not, Farnborough plus a 12-minute helicopter is the next best thing.

1 · Light jet into Goodwood (EGHR), or heavy into Farnborough
2 · Walk / shuttle, or helicopter from EGLF
3 · Straight to the gate
What it costs

Empty leg vs full charter, plus the transfer

A light-jet empty leg straight into Goodwood, or a leg into Farnborough plus a short transfer, both land well under full-charter pricing for the weekend.

Route → gatewayEmpty legFull charterPer person ÷6
London → GoodwoodEGKB → EGHR £2,200–3,800£5,500–8,000£370–640
Geneva → FarnboroughLSGG → EGLF £7,500–11,000£16,000–22,000£1,250–1,850
Sanity-check any "deal" against the benchmark:   Light jet £1,500–3,000/hr · super-mid £4,000–6,000/hr · the London hop is well under an hour.
Add the transfer:   Add £1,200–2,200 for a Farnborough–Goodwood helicopter, or nothing if you fly in direct.

Questions · Goodwood Revival specifics

Good to know before you book

Can I really land at the circuit?
Effectively, yes — Goodwood Aerodrome (EGHR) is on the estate and takes light jets and turboprops in daylight, with a short transfer to the gate. Heavier jets use Farnborough.
What if my jet is too big for Goodwood?
Land Farnborough (EGLF), then a 12-minute helicopter or 25-minute car to the estate. Reserve handling early — Farnborough fills for the Revival.
How early do empty legs appear?
Usually one to three weeks out. The Revival pulls south-coast traffic, so a route alert beats waiting for an exact-date match.
